(The AXXESS ASWC-1 is not recommended for this application - More Info) The Maestro SW unit is plug and play with this adapter.Integration will require an iDatalink Maestro or similar steering wheel control integration unit. Steering Wheel control signals will be provided a connector for the Maestro SW module. Auxiliary inputs(***Analog audio input only. The following adapters are recommended for installation of an aftermarket headunit in a 2022 Subaru WRX: 28-pin Harness: The backup camera interface will provide 6 vdc to your backup camera for power and will also provide the video signal to the aftermarket headunit. ![]() These adapters maintain many of the features of your stock unit, including connecting your stock backup camera to your new aftermarket headunit but additional parts will be required to retain the factory Harman Kardon amplifier. At this time, we do not have the connector for the OEM amplifier so we don't have a plug-and-play solution for replacing the amplifier with an aftermarket unit. The Harman Kardon amplifier is responsible for some volume control and equalization functions so retaining it is also complicated. This makes the system particularly difficult to bypass/replace when installing an aftermarket headunit. As you can see in the terminal list, the headunit with this connector is missing audio outputs. Make sure the headunit you source does not have the connector circled below. Make sure the head unit has a built in amplifier. When sourcing a radio, you will need to find one that comes with the display, or you can purchase them separately. *Note: There are additional parts required to complete the DIY which are listed below in steps.
